Description
Cue & Case Sales, Inc. is the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of billiard supplies. We manufacture and distribute pool cues, pool cue cases, game room furniture, lighting, and wide variety of billiard accessories.
We have an opening for a full-time Interactive Designer on our creative team. This team member’s primary responsibility will be to help maintain our current website and assist in creating and maintaining future websites. The Interactive Designer must have the ability to lead the vision for our current and future websites, while keeping them current and the material relevant, timely and fresh.
This team member must also be able to work collaboratively on other design projects, such as print catalogs, trade show graphics, sales mailers and e-mail promotions.

Skills Required
- The candidate must have at least 3 – 5 years experience with a strong background in web development and an emphasis on web design
- Online design experience – the candidate must possess an eye for great design, photography selection, etc., with a specific understanding of web design
- Proficiency in standard graphic design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite is required
- Experience working with copywriters, designers and IT professionals is a must
- Great attitude; the candidate must take feedback well and know how to have fun
- Must have a strong interactive portfolio
- Experience with major brands – an understanding of designing with Brand Identity in mind is a must
- The candidate must have CMS experience and experience working with large scale sites (500+ pages)
- Ideally, the candidate would have Information Architect skills and experience designing for new mobile-optimized sites
- The candidate must have the ability to balance page size and performance with visual integrity
- The candidate must also not mind doing mechanical work (e.g.: resizing images); he or she must also be able to collaborate on strategic design as well
- A background in print design is a plus
- Familiarity with coding templates for use with XCart or other eCommerce software is a must
- Additional understand/proficiency in the following code styles is a plus: HTML, XML, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, Joomla, CSS
Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to remaining current with emerging trends in the development of web content, web design, web usability/analytics and social media.
The applicant must be a proficient designer with excellent communications skills, the ability to understand marketing and public relations concepts, use the web to promote our key programs and services, be organized and have the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects at the same time.
