More than 250 leaders from across AIGA will come together in Minneapolis for “Activate"
Featuring chapter success stories, breakout sessions, case studies, group lunches, evening events around the city and much more, this invitation-only event will invigorate chapter board members to address pressing challenges and plan for the future in their chapters and communities.
At the 2010 Leadership Retreat, chapter leaders were empowered to engage in the goals set forth in the Mandate for 2014. This year, chapters will be encouraged to activate the people, initiatives and channels necessary to achieve the Mandate’s goals. Attendees will discuss the big-picture issues raised by the Mandate and the major shifts AIGA is making in 2011 to address them.
“Activate” will be held at the Graves 601 Hotel in downtown Minneapolis and is sponsored by official AIGA partners Adobe and Shutterstock.

Visit the leadership retreat section in the chapter workroom for a wealth of regularly updated information and resources. Don’t forget: The deadline to register as part of your chapter is Friday, May 6 and all retreat attendees must be AIGA members in good standing.
