Sea Change

The annual leadership retreat is an important opportunity for the organization’s leaders to meet together, celebrate the year past and prepare for the year ahead.

“Sea Change”, the 2009 retreat, will be held June 4–6 in Portland, Oregon. This leadership retreat is particularly important, for chapter and community leaders will define the future course for AIGA. The retreat will conclude a process of ascertaining what board members, chapter leaders and members believe is the appropriate course, beginning with the member survey, then roundtable topics to be discussed at each chapter, and, finally, extensive national board deliberations. By the time of the retreat, AIGA will have laid out a number of platforms, defining objectives, and planks, defining actions.
