AIGAJAX Gives Back: Salvation Army Application Assistance

Each year the Salvation Army begins their season by gathering necessary information from prospective clients who desire Thanksgiving/Christmas Assistance. AIGAJax is seeking 10 volunteers to help clients fill out applications who desire this assistance. The Assistance Program will be at Towers Memorial Social Services Center Warehouse, 900 W. Adams St, Saturday, October 23rd from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. A short training will be held from 8:45-9:00AM, and the actual application processing will follow.

In 2009, The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida served more than 8,500 needy children and their families with toys, clothing, stockings, food vouchers, and other assistance.
