Be a Part of the Agency Action
Fresh on the heels of I LOVE DESIGN, this is DESIGN SIDEKICKS, the new event where design students get to be a part of the agency action!
Four of Jacksonville’s finest award winning design firms are allowing senior level design students to come see how their business operates, what sort of friendly and talented people work there, get an idea of workflow and more. These lucky few design students will also get the chance to have their own work critiqued and workshopped by design professionals!
Space is limited!
There are a total of 15 spots for highly motivated design students across Florida and South Georgia. Each spot features two sessions at two firms, effectively doubling your experience!
REQUIREMENTS & SIGNUP
- To attend you must be considered a Senior or in your final year of schooling in a graphic design-related field.
- Reserve your spots on our ONLINE REGISTRATION
- Each participant chooses two tickets, one for each of the sessions.
- There are only 2-3 spots in each session listed, so act quickly so that you can work with the agencies that most interest you!
- Bring your portfolios or projects for a critique from professionals!
- You do not have to be an AIGA Member to participate
Schedule of Events
- 11AM-12PM — Students meet at the Shepherd Agency for some quick h’orderves and directions to the various firms.
- 12PM-12:30PM — Students travel to their first session.
- 12:30PM-2:30PM — SESSION 1
- 2:30PM-3PM — Students travel to their second session.
- 3PM-5PM — SESSION 2
- 6PM-9PM —Sidekicks on the town! Food, fun and conversation for students and professionals alike! Held at the patio of the Burrito Gallery!
