AIGA invites you to join us for our monthly Cocktails & Creatives at one of our favorite happy hour spots! Come unwind, grab yourself a beverage and enjoy the company of fellow creatives in a fun, relaxed setting.

We’ll be around from 6:00-9:00pm!

November’s Theme: Movember!

Movember Jax is the Jacksonville, Florida chapter of the Movember Foundation — a worldwide charity working to change the Face of Men’s Health by growing mustaches throughout the month of November to raise awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer.

So get GROWing! (pun intended.)

Grow, bring, or create your moustache at C&C. We’ll have a mo craft table set up, so bring your creativity and be on the look out for the camera.

Additional Movember Information

How it Works:
• Register at Movember.com (ideally before Movember 1st, but registrations are open during Movember.)
• Once registered, you will be able to personalize your mo space page on Movember.com – a place to showcase your Movember involvement with others in the mo community.
• Using pre-loaded email, Facebook and Twitter messages from your mo space page, recruit friends and family to join your Movember team or donate to your moustache growing efforts.
• Download the mobile phone apps (iPhone and Android) to manage your Movember campaign on the move.
• Use Facebook connect to easily post news items from the Movember website to your Facebook wall, to recruit Facebook friends to your team or to boost fundraising efforts by using the adopt-a-mo Facebook app.
• On Movember 1st mo bros (the men who support Movember.)
• Start clean-shaven, then grow and grRoom their moustache all month long.
• Mo sistas, the women who love and support the mo bros, play an important role in Movember mo sistas are encouraged to register on Movember.com create or join a team, host a mo party, and show support for the men in their life and their participation in Movember.
• Throughout the month of Movember, actively update your mo space with pictures, videos and status updates of your progress to supplement your fundraising outreach.
• At the end of Movember, celebrate your journey with the Movember community at an official gala parté or host your own mo party (Movember will send you a Movember party in a box kit with everything you need!).
